Call for Nominations: 2025 EPS Excellent Paper Award & EPS Young Researcher Award

We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2025 EPS Excellent Paper Award and the 2025 EPS Young Researcher Award. Please consider whether any of your colleagues are eligible for these awards, and follow the nomination procedure below.

(1) 2025 EPS Excellent Paper Award
This award is generally conferred annually to one paper. The Editor-in-Chief and the presidents of the five supporting societies will present the award. Eligible papers are those published in Earth, Planets and Space (EPS) within the last five (5) calendar years. The EPS Excellent Paper Award Committee, composed of members of the EPS Editorial Board, will nominate the awardee.

(2) 2025 EPS Young Researcher Award
This award is generally conferred annually to one researcher. The Editor-in-Chief and the presidents of the five supporting societies will present the award. The awardee must have been under 36 years of age at the time the paper was submitted, and the paper must have been published in EPS within the last two (2) calendar years. The EPS Young Researcher Award Committee, composed of members of the EPS Editorial Board, will nominate the awardee.

(2) Highly cited papers authored by eligible young researchers

Please complete the items below and email them to the Editor-in-Chief (eic-2025@earth-planets-space.org) no later than December 19, 2025.
